Essential English Usage, published by Geddes & Grosset, was written by Betty Kirkpatrick. It’s a guide to usage using common errors as examples. I typeset the book and edited onscreen following an initial edit by Helen Bleck. It was part of a series of eight books called Webster’s Word Power, the editorial side of which I project managed.
